Your adventure begins with a 7:00 AM wake-up call and breakfast. Afterward, we head to the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun for your mandatory registration. At 8:00 AM, we officially start the trek from Sembalun Village. The journey begins with a gentle climb through vast, open meadows with stunning mountain backdrops. After about two hours, we reach Pos 1 (1,300m), followed by a 40-minute walk to Pos 2 (1,500m). We continue to Pos 3 (1,800m), where our team will prepare a hearty lunch. After resting, we tackle the most demanding section of the day: a prolonged, steep three-hour climb to the Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m). We will set up camp here for the night, allowing you to relax and enjoy magnificent sunset and sunrise views over the crater.
Summit Attack, Segara Anak Lake & Torean Jungle An early alpine start! We wake you at 2:00 AM under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light pre-trek breakfast. At 3:00 AM, the thrilling push to the summit begins. The trail starts with a moderate incline, transitioning into a steady path, and finishes with a tough climb up steep, loose volcanic scree. Your perseverance pays off at 6:00 AM as you reach the summit (3,726m) just in time for a beautiful sunrise and panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake. We then descend for two hours back to the Crater Rim for a heavy breakfast. Next, we hike down to Segara Anak Lake, which takes about three hours. Lunch will be served by the lake, and you can enjoy the natural hot springs located just 100 meters from your campsite. After lunch and a relaxing soak, the adventure continues. We trek along the river and ascend toward Plawangan Torean. This 3 to 4-hour section requires careful footing, as the trail features steep descents and rugged, cliff-side paths. We will finally arrive at our campsite in the lush Torean Jungle (Mondokan at 1,420m), where you can enjoy a well-earned dinner and rest.
After breakfast in the jungle, we pack up and begin our final descent toward Torean Village. This scenic route takes you through dense tropical vegetation and past the magnificent Penimbungan Waterfall—a breathtaking sight unique to the Torean trail. We will stop for a freshly prepared lunch on the trail, typically between Pos 2 and Pos Extra. You will arrive at the Torean Rinjani Trekking Center around 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. From here, our private transport will be waiting to drop you off safely at your next destination, concluding your incredible Rinjani journey.
